I booked a one-day training session with a group of friends, and it was a really nice experience. The coaches put a strong emphasis on understanding what is taught, so you can correct yourself in the future. The mix of technical and tactical training was also very well done. The fitness session was particularly interesting, showing how you can train specifically for padel. All in all, the academy takes padel very seriously, and you can feel that as soon as you step onto the court with them. Additionally, the lady at the reception was very kind and helpful.

I recently attended the Gustavo Pratto Academy Padel Camp in Valladolid, and my experience was extremely disappointing. The organization was poor from the start, starting with delays caused by payment requests before training and a lack of introduction to the facilities. Breakfast was served just 30 minutes before training, offering unhealthy options contrary to the advertised healthy meals. Dinner was not provided as advertised, increasing our expenses. The coaching quality was subpar, with inexperienced coaches and insufficient staff for the number of courts. Training was basic, with minimal tactical guidance, and important skills were only briefly covered on the last day. Promised daily talks with professional players were limited to a short session with one player! Skill assessments were inadequate, and the hotel was much farther than described (1800meters instead of 400m). There was false advertising about the presence of professional players and Gustavo Pratto – HE WASN’T there! Facilities were poorly maintained (the ball won’t rebound in some of the courts), with unacceptable changing room conditions (no lights in the showers). Despite acknowledging the validity of my complaints, the academy has ignored my communications since I left and failed to provide a refund. I am now compelled to pursue legal action to recover my money. I DO NOT recommend this camp to anyone expecting a professional and well-organized experience.
