I've played at this club several times, and it's clear they don't manage the amount of sand on the surface properly. There's a noticeable excess, making the synthetic surface very slippery. Both my partner and I slipped more than three times and fell a few times each. This not only makes the game difficult (the ball bounce is erratic) but also poses a real risk to the players. It's easy to imagine someone getting seriously injured if this problem isn't fixed. The club manager mentioned the soles of our padel shoes (but that's not the real issue), which I didn't appreciate as he was trying to justify the poor condition of the black carpeted court. The court needs sand, otherwise it's impossible to play. But I've seen beaches with less sand than this court. A good court isn't just about looks; it also needs to be safe and have trained staff who manage it and take responsibility. I hope they fix this as soon as possible for the good of the club and its customers.
